Qilive is consumer electronics Auchan launched a new brand. It covers audiovisual appliances, photo, and mobility with 4 shelves and 4 smartphones. Behind these eight references Archos cache.
Major brands such distributors Carrefour, Leclerc and Auchan now cover almost all needs. Food , clothing , travel, phone and of course entertainment. If none has attempted further unfortunate experiments , to really get into the personal computer or consumer electronics , the multiplication of white markings in this area (Thomson, Orange , SFR , etc.). Gives them some value . Especially as the overall quality of manufacture " Made in China" significantly increased , even at entry level . Enough at least for a distributor is interested. This is the case of Qilive , a new brand launched by Auchan covering audiovisual ( headphones , TVs , home cinema ) , household appliances ( electric coffee machine washing machine), a little photo ( photo frame, digital compact cameras , outdoor camera) , some micro ( tablets and PC accessories ) and telephony ( fixed and smartphones combined) .
The range of tablets revolves meanwhile around 8 or 9.7-inch screens for prices starting at 149 euros to 249 euros. Each screen size comes in a dual-core model and another quad-core. Unlike smartphones, the shell is plastic, tablets have a brushed back, more qualitative aluminum. The quad-core model displays a screen resolution "HD" 1080p certainly. The minimum storage space is 4 GB, but all have a microSD port. Again, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is available in its raw version with integrated Play Store.

To create these eight Qilive terminals, Auchan joined, in all likelihood, that Archos provides its own platforms white label. Comparing some technical details, we deduce models that are Qilive: Platinum and Titanium (97b and 80b in the two families) that smartphone (50 Titanium ranges, both in tablet 40, 45, and the Platinum 55). This is a very good partnership signed by Archos certainly hard to sell its products in an open market overloaded. Especially as Auchan ambitions are important.

In smartphone, four models animate the range at launch, including screen sizes ranging from 4 to 5.3 inches for unsubsidized prices starting at 99 euros to 199 euros. The first three models share the same technical platform, namely a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, a 5 megapixel sensor and dual port for SIM cards. The highest end model is based on a quad-core chipset 1.2 GHz, an 8-megapixel camera sensor and always this dual slot for SIM card. All have Android version 4.2 without any overlay and Google certification (ie access to the Play Store).
